What is Nirvana and how do I get there

with Elly van der Pas, Venerable Jigme Palmo

Unfortunately, the weekend retreat needs to be postponed.
At the moment we don't have a new date scheduled.

We will let you know as soon as we have a new date and time.

“Nirvana” has become a common word in modern languages, and it seems to mean different things depending on who is using it. Is it a state of perfect happiness? Or does it mean freedom? Does it mean you don’t have any more karma? Or does it mean we disappear into a blissful void?

In this weekend course we will talk about what nirvana really means, from teachings given by Geshe Michael Roach and based on original sutras by Lord Buddha, as well as commentaries by Lama Quicksilver, Master Vasubandhu, and others. We will also learn practices and meditations that will help you to clear the way to your own nirvana.
