HELP GUESTS HAVE AN AMAZING RETREAT

What Is Diamond Mountain?

Diamond Mountain is a Beautiful and Magical Buddhist Retreat Center, inspired by the Tradition of Je Tsongkapa.

We offer to the world a place to go deep inside to deeply transform the outside! We offer a variety of Meditation, Yoga, online Philosophy, and online Tibetan language for beginners, and a peaceful and fun place to be.

It’s not uncommon for groups of staff and volunteers to go camping, do yoga, watch movies, explore the nearby towns and trails together. Life is about having fun and helping one another! 🤗

At Diamond Mountain, we want our volunteers to have meaningful life experiences, we offer some tools for a self-improving and self-knowing experience.

Artists, musicians, writers, yogis, and naturalists all feel at home out here in our beautiful natural environment.

We work under the principles of Love, Compassion and Wisdom, basically meaning acknowledging that in life we get what we plant, therefore, being nice to others should be a priority if we want a successful life.

If you are accepted, we will provide you with:

  • Simple, shared accommodation with beds/bunk beds
  • Use of a community kitchen
  • Comfortable bed and linens
  • Transportation between Tucson Airport and Diamond Mountain
  • An opportunity to serve the dharma while learning how to use service as a spiritual path!

We hope to hear from you and see your beautiful smiling face soon!

  • CARE & UPKEEP

We always have projects such as painting and other tasks to up-keep our retreat houses. Landscaping amidst our mountains is also a potential.

  • HOSPITALITY

Our hospitality manager, Maya, can always use a helping hand! Cleaning and setting up houses for guests is another volunteer task.

  • YOUR SKILLS!

What unique skills and talents to you have to offer? Some volunteers do marketing, others IT work, and others carpentry. Whatever you can do, we’d like to hear about it!
